This brand new Horiyoshi III art book was published on December 2008. Horiyoshi III got married in 1983 (1983 translates to the 58th year of Showa under the Japanese system, hence the title). All of the characters drawn on this book are of heroes taken from ancient Japanese myths. It speaks to his great genius that Horiyoshi was able to create all of these beautiful drawings using only a simple Japanese brush pen.
NOTE: The cardboard cover has a slight dent but the book itself remains perfect condition.
